ASS / FCS hike 2011
The Advance Scout Standard and First Class Scout Hike 2011 is open for registration. This hike is part of a component in Scouting called Exploration. It is a tough yet enriching part of your Scouting life.

Some issues
I know I had been rather too harsh on the patrol, thus I shall lower it by reduce the pumping of you guys instead making you all learn your mistakes at the same time :D Thus I will like to voice it out to all patrol 4 members, if you think which part that I am not doing well on, please tell me whenever you see me and I will correct my mistakes :) In the mean time I shall slightly lower the standard on strictness this is so that I want you all to have a sense of belonging but I hope you all can achieve high standards of discipline at the same time. :)
I already made a patrol file which is shared everyone, this patrol file records many important issues that you have been facing as well as our progress so that I can prepare you for the best in your scouting life :) Thus I hope i can have your cooperation by looking writing your personal particulars next week probably before or after the meeting. This file will mainly be held by the APL and PL so thus if you have anything any personal issues with anyone from our patrol or whatever issue you can voice it out in the file and we shall look into the matter. Patrol IN COUNCIL shall be on every wednesday after the meeting, if you all think you are not free do let me know I will change accordingly.
Roles in the patrol, I have set out the roles of each one of you all today already and this will be recorded into the file. If you have any personal issues with it also do let me know, I hope you can cooperate with those roles given to the different people
Patrol Shirt, I will be coming up with a new design for patrol shirt soon, hope you all will like it( this will be filed up into the patrol file) This design can be edited I will also ask for your opinions too if you think the design is not suitable and which part you want to change it on.... Patrol Cheer will also be changed, a better one will be made, can we formulate some ideas during our next PIC if its ok?
Last of all, I will like to thank Ho jia Le and Ho Li Yang for their constant contribution to the patrol, I know all of you all will miss them but if there are any outside activities I will ask them if they will like to join us. Good Luck to Ho Jia Le and Ho Li Yang on their new adventure in patrol 1, I hope you all too dont give up on yourself as we welcome our new APL Ho Hol Yin who will push the patrol for greater heights. LET US DO OUR BEST AND LEAVE A LEGACY BEHIND FOR PATROL 4. PATROL 4 JIAYOU!!!

I know it is not out patrol but they are your brothers so I expect at least after everyone eat finish your 5-8mins lunch and come down to help, you dont want your brothers to suffer :P For sec 1s that doesnt know how build, you can take a look on how the sec 2,3 build and you might be able to learn some useful knots so that during when its our time as Duty Patrol, we can achieve greater heights

This Saturday, 26th March 2011, is ZhongHua Campfire. Fall in at the Den at 1600 hrs for song -teaching session. Attendance is COMPULSORY. If you have something on, you can go to zhonghua secondary school. Zhonghua secondary is at 13 Serangoon Ave 3, 5-10min walk from serangoon mrt station.

Because there is meeting on friday and attire is Full scout uniform and you need where it on Saturday, I suggest you all just wash your scout shirt right after the meeting not your scout pants, so that it can be easily dry by the next day. This is just a suggestion, not a must

No meeting
There wont be meeting on the 11th March Friday due to PTM however on the saturday on the 12th March 2011 Please come to school in Full Scout Uniform for both sec 1s, 2s and 3s. Please be reminded that we will try to achieve $200 so I will split you all up into groups of three and each group will try to earn money through jobs somewhere near the place and after that we will meet up during noon for a break and for lunch.

Patrol in council
I had already look through each sec 2's potential and I really each of you have the potential to lead in one way or another, although there will be only one APL but dont be sad because in all you are still the best :)
So each of you will have to take up a role to push the patrol further in standards physically and psychology thinking.... :) This will also definitely build up your leadership skills....
So APL-HO JIA LE ( secretary ) Mainly to collect money as I will be planning a patrol fund for each scout to pay $2 per 2 weeks so that whenever times we go out for patrol outing or buying of materials, I can easily draw out from the patrol fund, then u dont have to pay more money. Jia Le will also update the blog and you can find jia le for more information instead of me
Next Ho Li Yang- Scribe. Mainly incharge of writing errors the patrol make in terms of different component and also write down during PLC. Li Yang will be required to bring foolscap and pen for meetings.
Next Isaac Loh- Timer, Isaac will be the main timer when falling in unless his watch Isaac, if you have any things on timing that you dont know, please ask me
Lastly Ryan Goh- First aider. Ryan will be the first aider, whenever someone is not feeling well in the patrol ryan will attend to him. The first aider will be required to fall in during patrol meeting in any case the first aider is not able to attend the meeting, I will take up the role of the first aider and the first aider when someone cannot make it do fall out and attend to him. I will also buy a patrol first aid kit for ryan with the patrol funds when it had been collected.
I hope you guys will take up this roles seriously.

CCA MAZE 2011
SO AFTER SO MUCH OF TRYOUTS, SO MUCH OF PRACTICES AND SO MUCH OF DISCUSSION, CCA MAZE 2011 IS FINALLY OVER!
Hereby I thank all those who participated either on the day before the CCA maze or on the cca maze itself, Thank you all of u for putting the effort in and hopefully more sec 1 can join scouts as their cca.
